Introduction to Comics

Introduction
Below is a listing of the current live and upcoming projects in production here in the studios. We're working on titles like The Rift™ (in-house) and Urban Sprawl™ and Immortal Kiss™ for Dion Floyd at this time and will soon be shopping around several projects for other publishers. We're also developing properties from these comics for use in other media forms such as films, television, and for video games. Our properties are original in thought and of the highest quality that an independent company producing independent comics can offer. Our flagship title, The Rift™, is just the first step of what we have planned here at Graphic Illusions Studios. You'll also see that we've been around the business long enough and are personally and professionally positioned to make big things happen within a shorter span of time.

Mastering Sequential Art
Getting top talent to make guest appearances on our books is a good start. I'm honored that Paul Gulacy and Jimmy Palmiotti have become good friends of mine and I'm delighted beyond belief that they have placed their collective talent on one of our projects called The Rift™. At the other end of the spectrum we've had inkers from our studio that have already moved up into the ranks of Marvel titles such as The Punisher, colorists who have now left their mark on Spider-Man, Voltron and more!

Putting Words in People's Mouths.
A great comic book cannot rest on artwork alone. It's tough to get a job as a writer in this business and it's even tougher to prove yourself when you go it alone. Great artwork and strong cover art can influence a fan to buy a book, but it is the stories and the characters that keep you coming back for more. It is our mission to keep readers coming back for more so creating exciting new worlds and characters to inhabit them is just crucial to us as it is to YOU, our audience. Every script that comes through our studio must be jam packed with action, emotions, and character development before anyone can pick up a pencil and start chiseling away at the blank art board that is to become Page One.
